Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Supervise and support Licensed Practical Nurses and Medical Assistants to ensure high-quality patient care delivery.
• Coordinate daily team huddles and manage schedules for efficient workflow.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring readiness and precision.
• Perform point-of-care testing and administer prescribed medications accurately.
• Review patient charts to address discrepancies and ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain quality control standards and adhere to regulatory requirements consistently.
• Provide constructive feedback and support for staff performance improvement initiatives.
• Ensure a safe and compliant workplace by adhering to established protocols and guidelines.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution required.
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse licensure in the State of New York mandatory.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in hospital or ambulatory settings essential.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required for patient safety.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and medical documentation necessary.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
