Overview

  • Lead impactful architectural projects within a collaborative studio environment, focusing on K–12 education projects from design through construction phases.
  • Serve as a key client partner, ensuring project success and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions that meet design and technical standards.
  • Mentor emerging professionals and contribute to the firm's design culture and standards.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead architectural design and technical execution across all project phases, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Coordinate with engineering, interiors, and planning disciplines for integrated project delivery.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams, fostering trust and collaboration.
  • Oversee project documentation, quality control, and constructability reviews.
  • Support project scheduling, staffing, and delivery in partnership with project managers.
  • Mentor junior architects and designers, promoting a culture of learning and accountability.
  • Participate in site visits, respond to RFIs, and support construction administration activities.
  • Contribute to the evolution of firm standards, workflows, and best practices.
  • Uphold commitments to sustainability and community impact through thoughtful design solutions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program; licensed architect preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience, with 8 years preferred, leading building projects through all phases.
  • Proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows; familiarity with visualization tools is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
  • Experience with K–12 education projects and sustainable design strategies preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to mentor and lead teams effectively.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, valuing in-person collaboration and mentorship.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects or phases simultaneously.
