Job Description

Overview

  • Manage client relationships and drive business development initiatives to support organizational growth and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align client needs with service offerings and strategic objectives.
  • Analyze client data to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across various services.
  • Represent the organization at networking events, client meetings, and industry functions.
  • Develop and execute sales plans aligned with organizational growth objectives.
  • Support client retention efforts through effective relationship management and service optimization.
  • Utilize technology and data-driven tools to enhance client engagement and business development effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the development of referral relationships with strategic partners.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue growth targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand services within the existing client base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, referral partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Track and report on sales performance, pipeline activity, and revenue results.
  • Collaborate with service teams to ensure client needs are met effectively.
  • Represent the organization at industry events and client meetings.
  • Optimize client data and reporting for accurate workflow efficiency.
  • Manage the business development process from prospecting to proposal development and negotiation.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or professional certification preferred.
  • 5–7+ years of experience in business development, client services, or sales within professional services.
  • Proven ability to generate revenue and grow client relationships.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Consultative, solution-oriented approach with solid business and financial understanding.
  • Experience working with mid-market businesses or professional service clients preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives while collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Familiarity with data-driven tools and technology for client engagement.
