Quality Control Specialist (Architectural)

Overview

• Serve as a Quality Control Specialist ensuring architectural compliance and craftsmanship excellence.
• Oversee construction methods for exterior and interior finishes, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
• Inspect materials and workmanship to verify compliance with specifications and certifications.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve non-conformance and finalize punch list items.
• Provide expertise in quality control for diverse construction projects, including commercial and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Review contract documents and subcontractor submittals for compliance with project specifications.
• Conduct inspections of exterior envelopes and interior finishes against approved submittals and mock-ups.
• Verify materials meet specified requirements and possess necessary certifications.
• Monitor craftsmanship quality and adherence to industry standards during construction.
• Collaborate with project management teams, subcontractors, and inspectors to address non-conforming work.
• Ensure timely resolution of punch list items and facilitate project close-out processes.
• Provide leadership in quality control processes to align teams with project objectives.
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders to ensure project success and compliance.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control or construction on diverse projects.
• Proven ability to establish and contribute to strategic solutions effectively.
• Strong initiative and responsibility to deliver excellence and value in project execution.
