Senior Accountant

Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Manage month-end close processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis.
• Oversee accounts payable and expense management functions, ensuring compliance with policies.
• Collaborate with product teams to optimize customer fund flows and billing systems.
• Enhance internal controls and documentation for financial processes and policies.
• Evaluate and implement financial systems and automation tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Support tax compliance and audit readiness through detailed documentation and reporting.
• Monitor accounts receivable and manage collections processes using automation software.
• Partner with leadership to develop forecasts and performance analyses for strategic planning.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of accounting or finance experience; 7 years preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with ERP systems, expense management tools, and financial automation platforms.
• CPA certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to manage AP/AR processes and cash management effectively.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to balance precision with efficiency.
• Strong project management and communication skills to handle complex tasks collaboratively.
