Job Description

Overview

  • Lead and oversee operational aspects of credit investment platforms, including syndicated loans and private credit assets.
  • Provide strategic oversight of credit operations, ensuring adherence to control standards and best practices.
  • Govern third-party outsourced service providers and agent bank servicing models effectively.
  • Ensure operational activities align with industry guidelines and service level expectations.
  • Contribute to scalable operating models to accommodate growth across credit strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent interpretation of loan notices and corporate actions.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and automation in workflows.
  • Support technology enhancements and integration initiatives for operational scalability.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee day-to-day credit operations, including trade processing, settlement, and reconciliations.
  • Manage agent bank servicing models, ensuring compliance with guidelines and standards.
  • Monitor third-party service providers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to procedures.
  • Strengthen operational controls, including reconciliations and SOX processes.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks related to servicing activities.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to enhance systems and workflows.
  • Support portfolio activities, including restructurings, amendments, and complex credit events.
  • Ensure outsourced processes align with internal policies and regulatory expectations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in credit operations within financial services or asset management.
  • Strong understanding of LSTA guidelines and syndicated loan servicing models.
  • Experience managing agent bank servicing models and outsourced providers.
  • Proficiency in trade lifecycle management, settlements, and reconciliations.
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets.
  • Proven ability to strengthen controls and support investment objectives.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
