Overview

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in a dynamic healthcare environment, focusing on client-centered treatment and advocacy.

• Administer medications, including injections, ensuring adherence to prescribed treatment protocols.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Perform comprehensive nursing evaluations and document findings in client records promptly and accurately.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary services to ensure seamless and effective care delivery.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, including inoculations, with precision and care.
• Monitor client adherence to treatment plans, making adjustments as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Conduct educational sessions on health topics for clients and caregivers to promote informed care practices.
• Act as a liaison between clients, families, and healthcare providers to facilitate communication and support.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives to uphold high standards of care and service delivery.
• Engage in advocacy efforts to address systemic health challenges and improve community well-being.

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in the State of New York.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in nursing, with 2 years preferred.
• Proficiency in administering injections and managing complex treatment plans.
• Experience in HIV/AIDS care, substance use, or mental health is advantageous.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills to maintain accurate client records.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish/English is preferred.
• Commitment to advocacy and interdisciplinary care planning to address community health challenges.
