Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Deliver specialized care to neonates in the NICU, ensuring high standards of patient safety.
  • Monitor and assess neonatal conditions, implementing appropriate interventions and treatments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans.
  • Educate families about neonatal care, fostering understanding and confidence.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, adhering to regulatory and institutional standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
  • Mentor and support new staff, promoting a culture of learning and growth.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
  • Active RN licensure and certifications in BLS, NRP, and STABLE within six months of hire.
  • Preferred one year of Women and Infants nursing experience or completion of a fellowship program.
  • Strong knowledge of neonatal care practices and NICU protocols.
  • Ability to work night shifts, including three 12-hour shifts per week.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and certification maintenance.
  • Experience in evidence-based practice and patient-centered care models.
