Job Description

Overview

  • Contribute to a leading financial services firm specializing in private equity fund accounting and operations.
  • Engage in financial reporting, tax deliverables, and fund operations management with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to ensure seamless operational workflows.
  • Utilize advanced technology tools to manage investor and investment data effectively and securely.
  • Participate in defining and refining operating policies and procedures to optimize processes.
  • Support cash management, reconciliation processes, and contribute to ad-hoc projects as required.
  • Work in a hybrid environment that balances collaboration and flexibility for enhanced productivity.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fund managers, and service providers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support ongoing fund operations and ensure compliance.
  • Review NAV packages, capital events, and management fee calculations with precision.
  • Monitor cash positions, liquidity, and manage cash reserves effectively.
  • Execute accounts payable and expense allocation processes with attention to detail.
  • Maintain and update investor and investment data using proprietary technology tools.
  • Define, update, and enforce operating policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with custodians, banks, and counterparties to facilitate operational success.
  • Contribute to team initiatives and address ad-hoc requests as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Entry-level position with a preference for candidates with 2 years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of fund accounting and financial reporting processes.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and proprietary technology tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for client and team interactions.
  • Ability to manage cash positions and reconcile accounts effectively.
  • Detail-oriented approach to reviewing financial documents and calculations.
  • Capability to define and update operating policies and procedures.
