Job Description

Overview

  • Lead corporate accounting for international entities, ensuring compliance with global standards and accurate financial reporting.
  • Drive process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and strengthen financial controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement advanced financial systems and reporting tools.
  • Manage statutory audits and tax filings, ensuring adherence to international regulatory requirements.
  • Provide strategic financial analysis to support executive decision-making and business growth initiatives.
  • Mentor and oversee offshore finance teams, fostering collaboration and operational excellence.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance across jurisdictions.
  • Develop and track performance metrics for offshore teams to optimize workflows and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes for international subsidiaries.
  • Lead initiatives to automate financial reporting and enhance data analytics capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and local regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate statutory audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth execution.
  • Supervise VAT/GST filing processes and support corporate tax compliance efforts.
  • Perform variance analysis and provide actionable insights to enhance financial performance.
  • Mentor offshore finance teams, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and strategic goals.
  • Identify opportunities for technology-driven process improvements and lead implementation efforts.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate accounting or financial management.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting tools such as Workiva and Anaplan is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of international accounting standards and compliance regulations.
  • Experience managing offshore finance teams and driving operational excellence.
  • Proven track record in leading automation initiatives and process improvements.
  • Exceptional analytical skills for conducting variance analysis and strategic planning.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams and stakeholders.
