Overview

- Oversee surgical departments including Operating Room, PACU, Endoscopy, and Pre/Post-Operative Services.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance communication and optimize performance across surgical services.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and implement evidence-based practices in perioperative care.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to support efficient care delivery.
- Develop and oversee budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource utilization and financial stewardship.

- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, CMS, Joint Commission, and state regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for surgical services, ensuring high-quality patient care.
- Monitor performance metrics such as case volume, turnover time, and utilization rates.
- Implement initiatives to improve Operating Room efficiency and reduce delays.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop perioperative nursing staff, fostering professional growth and excellence.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; advanced degrees are preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in perioperative services; 5 years preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of surgical operations, patient care standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and optimize resource utilization effectively.
