Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Oversee valuation processes for structured and private credit assets, ensuring methodological compliance.
- Collaborate with investment teams to align models and assumptions with strategic goals.
- Develop and implement tools for portfolio analytics and performance reporting automation.
- Conduct stress testing and exposure monitoring to strengthen risk management practices.
- Coordinate with accounting teams to reconcile NAVs and performance metrics accurately.
- Prepare comprehensive materials for Valuation Committee meetings, documenting methodologies.
- Support the creation and documentation of valuation policies and internal controls.
- Participate in firmwide risk processes and contribute to ESG enhancements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field; CFA designation preferred.
- 4–7 years of experience in asset management, private credit, or valuation advisory.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and process automation.
- Experience with valuation systems such as iHS Markit, Advent Geneva, or IVP.
- Strong financial modeling skills and ability to manage complex data sets.
- Direct experience with third-party valuation providers and fund administrators.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting valuation concepts to stakeholders.
- Team-oriented mindset with proactive project management capabilities.
