Job Description

Overview

  • Lead the pediatric program, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement care plans for pediatric patients referred to home health services.
  • Provide strategic guidance to ensure timely and accurate documentation.
  • Oversee staff training and development to maintain service excellence.
  • Assess patient care needs and coordinate initial planning for services.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations.
  • Promote effective communication and problem-solving within the team.
  • Enhance customer relations and satisfaction through proactive engagement.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage pediatric program operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Supervise clinical and administrative staff to uphold care standards.
  • Monitor documentation processes for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate patient care plans with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Implement strategies to improve pediatric care quality and efficiency.
  • Provide mentorship and support to team members for professional growth.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and recommend improvements.

Job Requirements

  • License to practice as RN, PT, or OT in NY state required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field; Master's preferred.
  • 3-5 years of pediatric OPWDD management experience in CHHA.
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer relations.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
  • Experience in training and mentoring healthcare staff.
