Job Description

Overview

  • Lead the accounting department to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence in a dynamic hybrid work environment.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to align with organizational objectives and strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes and reporting accuracy for optimal performance.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and precise financial reporting.
  • Manage fixed asset accounting and balance sheet reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team, fostering professional growth and a culture of excellence.
  • Support audits, special projects, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance organizational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee payment processes effectively and accurately.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare and analyze financial transactions, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate and manage month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently and effectively.
  • Review and reconcile lease agreements and operational expenditures for accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in audits, process improvements, and system upgrades to enhance organizational efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience; 10 years preferred, with leadership exposure.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting tools and spreadsheet software.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and cost accounting practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate financial management.
  • Effective communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration and leadership.
  • Experience managing tax payments and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
