Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide comprehensive care for patients with acute and chronic conditions.
- Supervise and train primary care providers to enhance clinical outcomes.
- Lead weekly team meetings to align on care strategies and objectives.
- Collaborate with hospitalists and transitional care teams for seamless patient management.
- Drive operational improvements and financial performance in partnership with center leaders.
- Engage in patient recruitment and community outreach activities.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to clinical protocols and guidelines.
- Participate in national and regional training sessions to stay updated on best practices.
- Support the center's strategic goals through leadership and innovation.
Job Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with active licensure in the state of employment.
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience; 10 years preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare applications.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of employment.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills to guide clinical teams effectively.
- Experience in value-based care and patient-centered healthcare delivery.
- Ability to travel locally and nationally for training and recruitment purposes.
