Overview

  • Lead a clinical team to deliver exceptional patient care and outcomes in a value-based care environment.
  • Provide direct patient care while overseeing clinical operations and physician performance.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to enhance center performance and membership growth.
  • Engage in strategic initiatives to improve clinical quality and patient satisfaction.
  • Mentor and coach primary care providers to achieve clinical excellence.
  • Participate in recruitment and training efforts to expand the clinical team.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Utilize advanced technologies and methodologies to optimize care delivery.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the center.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide comprehensive care for patients with acute and chronic conditions.
  • Supervise and train primary care providers to enhance clinical outcomes.
  • Lead weekly team meetings to align on care strategies and objectives.
  • Collaborate with hospitalists and transitional care teams for seamless patient management.
  • Drive operational improvements and financial performance in partnership with center leaders.
  • Engage in patient recruitment and community outreach activities.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to clinical protocols and guidelines.
  • Participate in national and regional training sessions to stay updated on best practices.
  • Support the center's strategic goals through leadership and innovation.

Job Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with active licensure in the state of employment.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience; 10 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare applications.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of employment.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills to guide clinical teams effectively.
  • Experience in value-based care and patient-centered healthcare delivery.
  • Ability to travel locally and nationally for training and recruitment purposes.
