Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Conduct patient screenings, examinations, diagnoses, and treatments across various age groups.
- Provide evidence-based care that is respectful, compassionate, and unbiased.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Make appropriate referrals to internal and external specialists as needed.
- Participate in case conferences and quality improvement initiatives.
- Engage in continuing medical education to stay updated on best practices.
- Document all patient interactions and care promptly using EPIC.
- Deliver care within scheduled appointment times, ensuring efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Job Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) with New York State Certification/Licensure.
- Current NYS Registration and DEA Controlled Substances Registration Certificate.
- Board certified or eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Infectious Disease.
- Minimum of 2 years of primary care experience; 3 years preferred.
- Experience in community-based primary care settings is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in bilingual communication (Spanish/English) is a plus.
- Strong collaboration skills within a team-based care model.
