Job Description

Overview

  • Manage relationships with external vendors for credentialing services, ensuring compliance and quality standards.
  • Coordinate credentialing processes, including provider verification and network monitoring.
  • Prepare agendas, summaries, and reports for Credentialing Committee meetings.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve data issues and improve processes.
  • Monitor vendor performance and oversee audits to ensure compliance.
  • Support special projects and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Utilize advanced tools like MS Office, DocuSign, and SharePoint for efficient task management.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and detail-oriented team environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Review incoming credentialing cases and update case notes for delegated providers.
  • Coordinate Medical Director approvals for providers and vendors.
  • Track and resolve support tickets with credentialing verification organizations.
  • Monitor provider network changes and credentialing statuses.
  • Prepare quarterly presentations and updates for compliance committees.
  • Conduct annual audits of delegated vendors to ensure compliance.
  • Assist with telehealth application processing and directory updates.
  • Attend regular meetings with vendors and stakeholders to address issues and solutions.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of healthcare vendor management experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, DocuSign, and SharePoint.
  • Experience in credentialing within managed care or healthcare organizations preferred.
  • Strong collaborative and problem-solving skills in complex environments.
  • Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to work remotely and communicate effectively across teams.
