Overview
- Coordinate and oversee the finish stages of multifamily construction projects, ensuring quality standards and timely completion.
- Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to meet project deliverables and schedules.
- Utilize advanced project management tools to manage punch lists and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Conduct unit readiness checks and final walkthroughs with property managers and owners.
- Participate in progress meetings to address scheduling challenges and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Maintain site cleanliness, security, and adherence to safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide final sign-off for units, managing turnover processes and documentation.
- Adapt to flexible working hours to meet critical project deadlines effectively.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Review project documents, finish selections, and schedules to ensure timely and accurate execution.
- Set up and manage punch tools using industry-standard software, ensuring readiness checklists are completed.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and enforce adherence to project schedules and quality standards.
- Communicate updates on unit readiness and schedules with property managers and stakeholders.
- Attend regular project meetings to ensure coordination and address any emerging issues.
- Ensure punch lists are completed, reviewed, and approved for final acceptance.
- Maintain site organization, access control, and compliance with safety measures.
- Coordinate final turnover procedures, including distribution of keys and other essential items.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction, preferably in multifamily housing projects.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Microsoft Project, and Excel.
- Ability to interpret construction plans, specifications, and schedules effectively.
- High School Diploma or GED required; additional certifications are advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of construction standards, safety protocols, and industry practices.
- Reliable transportation and availability for flexible working hours, including weekends.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
