Overview
- Provide medical support to healthcare providers and assist with clinical activities under the direction of the Nurse Manager.
- Ensure exam rooms are prepared, stocked, and cleaned for patient encounters, maintaining a safe and organized environment.
- Perform patient intake procedures, including obtaining vital signs and documenting them in electronic medical records.
- Assist with patient care tasks, including phlebotomy, as directed by medical providers or Nurse Manager.
- Maintain universal precautions and adhere to safety protocols in all clinical activities.
- Support clinic operations by organizing patient summary sheets and charts for daily use.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient and effective patient care delivery.
- Adapt to schedule changes, including late clinics and possible weekend shifts, as required.
Key Responsibilities & Duties

Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant certification mandatory.
- Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience preferred, with strong clinical skills.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records systems and computer literacy.
- Bilingual capabilities are preferred to enhance patient communication.
- Ability to adapt to schedule changes, including late clinics and potential weekend shifts.
