Interim Registered Nurse Clinic Manager (Pediatrics)

Overview

• Manage daily operations, staff, and patient care services in outpatient pediatric clinics.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and deliver high-quality patient experiences.
• Supervise professional support staff and address clinical and administrative issues effectively.
• Coordinate with Medical Chiefs to enhance patient care and operational performance.
• Implement changes to improve clinical efficiency, safety, and patient satisfaction.
• Oversee administrative team of 17 employees and track workflow across multiple locations.
• Report to the Nurse Manager and collaborate on strategic initiatives.
• Work on-site Saturdays from 8-12pm for emergencies; no on-call duties required.
• Manage East Bay locations, including school sites and mobile units within Alameda County.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Supervise and support clinic staff to ensure optimal patient care delivery.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Coordinate operational activities across multiple clinic locations effectively.
• Implement and oversee clinical efficiency and safety improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Medical Chiefs to align clinic operations with organizational goals.
• Address and resolve clinical and administrative challenges promptly.
• Track and report workflow metrics to ensure operational excellence.
• Provide leadership and guidance to administrative teams across all clinic sites.
• Ensure patient satisfaction through effective management and quality assurance practices.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; RN certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of managerial experience in a clinical setting.
• Proven ability to manage multiple clinic locations and diverse teams.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to implement operational changes and improve clinical efficiency.
• Experience in workflow tracking and reporting for operational improvement.
• Availability to work on-site Saturdays for emergencies as needed.
• Flexibility to manage mobile units within Alameda County.
