Overview
- Manage daily operations, staff, and patient care services in outpatient pediatric clinics.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and deliver high-quality patient experiences.
- Supervise professional support staff and address clinical and administrative issues effectively.
- Coordinate with Medical Chiefs to enhance patient care and operational performance.
- Implement changes to improve clinical efficiency, safety, and patient satisfaction.
- Oversee administrative team of 17 employees and track workflow across multiple locations.
- Report to the Nurse Manager and collaborate on strategic initiatives.
- Work on-site Saturdays from 8-12pm for emergencies; no on-call duties required.
- Manage East Bay locations, including school sites and mobile units within Alameda County.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise and support clinic staff to ensure optimal patient care delivery.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Coordinate operational activities across multiple clinic locations effectively.
- Implement and oversee clinical efficiency and safety improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Medical Chiefs to align clinic operations with organizational goals.
- Address and resolve clinical and administrative challenges promptly.
- Track and report workflow metrics to ensure operational excellence.
- Provide leadership and guidance to administrative teams across all clinic sites.
- Ensure patient satisfaction through effective management and quality assurance practices.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; RN certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of managerial experience in a clinical setting.
- Proven ability to manage multiple clinic locations and diverse teams.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to implement operational changes and improve clinical efficiency.
- Experience in workflow tracking and reporting for operational improvement.
- Availability to work on-site Saturdays for emergencies as needed.
