Job Description

Overview

  • Manage daily operations of residential properties, ensuring compliance with agency standards and quality customer service.
  • Conduct property inspections, schedule contractor work, and oversee maintenance activities.
  • Handle leasing activities, rent collection, lease enforcement, and resident complaint resolution.
  • Maintain property and resident files, ensuring program compliance and recertification processes.
  • Serve as HUB supervisor in the absence of the Property Manager.
  • Collaborate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to property management activities.
  • Support financial analysis, budgeting, and P&L management for the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct annual and daily property inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Schedule and oversee contractor work, ensuring timely and quality completion.
  • Assign work orders and monitor maintenance activities for efficiency.
  • Manage leasing activities, including tenant onboarding and lease enforcement.
  • Respond to resident complaints and resolve issues effectively and courteously.
  • Maintain accurate property and resident files, ensuring program compliance.
  • Perform financial analysis and budgeting tasks to support property management.
  • Supervise HUB operations in the absence of the Property Manager.

Job Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree or 2 years of college; BA/BS Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management; 1 year supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and P&L management.
  • Experience with Tax Credit, Housing Choice Voucher, and Affordable Housing programs preferred.
  • Knowledge of industry software systems, preferably Yardi.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
