Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate billing processes for assigned accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Generate and review prebills, addressing discrepancies before finalization.
  • Submit invoices and manage e-billing platforms for efficient processing.
  • Handle billing appeals and resolve rejections to maintain smooth operations.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Collaborate with legal staff to address billing inquiries and provide solutions.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in legal billing or related field.
  • Proficiency in billing software, with experience in SurePoint preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing billing operations.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with legal staff and clients.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
