Overview

  • Support business development initiatives for a leading financial services firm, focusing on strategic fundraising and investor engagement.
  • Collaborate with institutional investors, creating impactful presentations and tailored responses to meet their needs.
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to refine sales strategies and messaging.
  • Manage CRM systems to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of investor interactions.
  • Develop customized materials, including RFPs, DDQs, and pitchbooks, to support client engagement.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects aimed at optimizing distribution operations and investor segmentation.
  • Work in a hybrid environment, blending remote flexibility with on-site collaboration for maximum efficiency.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assist in identifying and engaging potential institutional investors, ensuring effective communication and follow-ups.
  • Maintain and update investor databases, ensuring accuracy and comprehensive reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce high-quality materials for investor communications.
  • Prepare tailored presentations, RFPs, DDQs, and other materials to meet specific investor requirements.
  • Conduct detailed market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor industry trends and macroeconomic data to enhance prospecting strategies and messaging.
  • Support the investor relations team in managing consultant database updates and reporting.
  • Contribute to fundraising strategy projects and operational process improvements for enhanced efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree required, with 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Experience in investor relations, business development, or asset management roles is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is essential.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, such as Salesforce or DealCloud, is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
