Job Description

Overview

  • Support a growing real assets portfolio, focusing on investments in real estate, infrastructure, and agriculture across the U.S. and Europe.
  • Collaborate with a global investment management organization affiliated with a major insurance institution.
  • Contribute to research, reporting, and due diligence processes for real asset investments.
  • Engage in ESG initiatives and maintain communication with international teams.
  • Participate in site visits and meetings with investment teams to evaluate strategies.
  • Work in a hybrid environment combining remote and on-site collaboration.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports to monitor portfolio performance and investment metrics.
  • Conduct real assets and macroeconomic research for presentations to senior management.
  • Assist with investment due diligence for real asset-focused commingled funds.
  • Participate in meetings and site visits to evaluate proposed investment strategies.
  • Support operations in managing investment-related activities and processes.
  • Implement and measure ESG initiatives across the investment portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain reports using Power BI and other automated tools.
  • Maintain frequent communication with international offices to ensure alignment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, or a related field required.
  • 2–3 years of experience in real assets at institutional investors or investment managers preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial metrics, investment concepts, and commingled fund investing.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, advanced Excel, financial modeling, and automated research tools.
  • Experience with Power BI, including DAX formulas and Power Query, is advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and effective in a collaborative global environment.
