Overview

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care facility.

  • Perform charge nurse responsibilities as assigned, reporting to the Clinical Care Manager.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor and document patient health status and progress.
  • Assist with patient assessments and care planning.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and families.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.

Job Requirements

  • Valid NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care settings.
  • Graduate of an approved practical nursing program.
  • BCLS and IV certification required.
  • Commitment to working rotating weekend shifts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
