Overview

  • Deliver exceptional nursing care in a clinic setting, focusing on patient-centered services and wellness promotion.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective, personalized care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on health maintenance, treatments, and procedures to enhance understanding and compliance.
  • Perform clinical tasks, including medication administration, patient triage, and therapeutic procedure assistance.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and clinic operations.
  • Ensure adherence to infection control practices and safety standards within the clinic environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify health concerns and formulate appropriate care plans.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments, monitoring patient responses and documenting outcomes.
  • Provide education on disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care strategies to patients and families.
  • Coordinate referrals to specialists or community resources as required for patient care.
  • Assist in clinic operations, including inventory management and ensuring availability of necessary supplies.
  • Participate in staff training and mentoring to promote skill development and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including licensure and certifications.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance patient care quality and clinic efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field; valid RN license required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical or ambulatory care setting.
  • Proficiency in administering medications and performing therapeutic procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Knowledge of infection control practices and patient safety standards.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Infection Control.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish preferred for effective patient communication.
