Staff Nurse

Overview

• Deliver exceptional patient care in a remote setting, utilizing advanced nursing practices and collaborative healthcare strategies.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Administer medications and therapeutic treatments with precision and care.
• Document patient care activities and outcomes in compliance with healthcare standards.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and self-care practices.
• Coordinate patient flow and optimize staff assignments to ensure efficiency.
• Monitor clinical inventory and maintain organized healthcare environments.
• Act as a resource for patients and team members, advocating for patient needs.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and maintain narcotic inventory.

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in New York State with certifications.
• Minimum of one year experience in ambulatory or medical surgery settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent; bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Proficiency in venipuncture and medication administration.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Competence in basic computer skills and healthcare information systems.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
• Physical capability to perform job duties with occasional lifting.
