Overview

- Oversee on-site operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards throughout project lifecycles.
- Maintain open communication with stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns promptly.

- Support and mentor junior team members, fostering professional development and skill enhancement.
- Participate in preconstruction planning and bid evaluations to ensure project feasibility and alignment.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise daily site activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Monitor construction progress and proactively address any issues or delays.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports to project managers and stakeholders.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure construction meets established standards and specifications.
- Resolve conflicts and challenges on-site to maintain project momentum and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the preconstruction team to align execution strategies with initial plans.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
- Proven track record of managing projects in the $5-10M range successfully.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage teams and operations effectively.
- Ability to work on-site five days a week and oversee operations directly.
- Experience with public and hard bid projects is preferred.
- Vehicle provided for job-related travel and site visits.
