Overview

  • Lead nursing operations and strategic initiatives in a dynamic healthcare organization, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to drive evidence-based practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Oversee inpatient services, managing resources effectively to enhance patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.
  • Develop leadership skills and contribute to strategic planning initiatives to support organizational growth.
  • Engage in recruitment, retention, and professional development strategies to build a strong nursing workforce.
  • Enhance patient experiences through service recovery programs and engagement strategies.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures aligned with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Formulate and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and professional standards.
  • Conduct regular rounds to oversee operations, enhance communication, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Design and execute performance improvement initiatives to elevate the quality of care delivery.
  • Collaborate with nursing educators to address staff development needs and orientation programs.
  • Develop strong working relationships with physicians and healthcare providers to promote interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Plan and oversee the implementation of new services and participate in renovation or construction projects.
  • Promote activities that encourage independent thinking and problem-solving among staff.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Master's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
  • Active registered nurse license in the state of practice or compact license.
  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory nursing experience in acute care settings.
  • Proven expertise in inpatient/medical-surgical director roles is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on quality improvement and patient-centered care.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage strategic initiatives and drive operational success.
