Job Description

Overview

  • Lead diverse construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, timeliness, and adherence to client specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers, to achieve project goals.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, ensuring timely completion and efficient resource allocation.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost projections, ensuring financial accuracy and accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and industry best practices throughout project execution.
  • Engage in contract negotiations, oversee change orders, and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align project planning with organizational objectives and strategic goals.
  • Contribute to fostering a collaborative, innovative, and team-oriented work environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop comprehensive project schedules, monitor progress, and implement adjustments to meet deadlines.
  • Oversee project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management, ensuring fiscal responsibility.
  • Coordinate construction activities, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Manage subcontractor and supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Prepare and process change orders, pricing adjustments, and contract modifications efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards, and industry codes.
  • Collaborate with estimating teams during project bidding and negotiation phases to secure favorable outcomes.
  • Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders to maintain alignment and resolve issues promptly.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in construction management, engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management; 8 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in scheduling and project management software, such as MS Project or Primavera.
  • Strong understanding of construction foundations, soil analysis, and environmental compliance.
  • Demonstrated expertise in cost management, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Ability to prepare, manage, and negotiate change orders effectively.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
