Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Prepare accurate financial and managerial reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assist in financial statement preparation, including footnotes and management discussions.
• Conduct research and analysis to address complex accounting queries.
• Collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance with testing and reporting requirements.
• Support budget preparation and audits, contributing to strategic financial planning.
• Maintain adherence to company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Contribute to the preparation of rate cases and regulatory submissions.
• Work collaboratively across departments to achieve organizational objectives.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, with 3 years preferred.
• Proficiency in U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting standards.
• Strong analytical skills for conducting financial analysis and problem-solving.
• Experience in preparing financial statements and managerial reports.
• Knowledge of internal controls and compliance procedures.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with auditors.
