Job Description

Overview

  • Lead operations at a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center specializing in Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, and Pain Management.
  • Collaborate with physicians, staff, and governing boards to ensure clinical quality and operational efficiency.
  • Manage facility operations, financial performance, and quality initiatives while ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Develop and oversee operating, staffing, and capital budgets to achieve organizational goals.
  • Support physician relationships, credentialing processes, and medical staff coordination.
  • Identify opportunities for service line development and operational improvement.
  • Participate in operational reviews and facility performance reporting to ensure sustainable performance.
  • Contribute to infection control, patient experience, and quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead daily facility operations, including administrative, clinical support, and business functions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, quality, and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with facility leadership, medical staff, and governing boards to support consistent operations.
  • Monitor financial performance and address operational risks effectively.
  • Oversee staffing, employee performance management, and workforce planning.
  • Manage vendor, service, and physician contracts to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Support quality improvement, infection control, and patient experience initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for service line development and operational improvement.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Registered Nurse credential preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of senior administrative or healthcare management experience.
  • Experience with Ambulatory Surgery Center leadership or hospital surgical leadership with ASC exposure.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities across multiple operational areas effectively.
  • Comfort working in both office and clinical environments.
  • Mobility to move throughout the facility as needed.
