Overview

  • Provide advanced imaging services as a CT Technologist in a dynamic academic medical center.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform CT imaging procedures following physician orders and established protocols.
  • Administer contrast media and monitor patient responses during imaging.
  • Maintain and operate imaging equipment ensuring optimal functionality.
  • Document and report imaging results accurately and timely.
  • Participate in quality assurance and control measures for imaging services.
  • Educate patients about procedures and address their concerns effectively.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and practices.

Job Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registry eligible in CT by ARRT.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in radiologic imaging; 2 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating CT imaging equipment and performing diagnostic procedures.
  • Strong understanding of patient care and safety protocols.
  • Commitment to professional growth and adherence to ethical standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
