Job Description

Overview

  • Support the Health Initiative team during maternity leave coverage, contributing to impactful projects addressing climate change and health.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations across grant administration, research, and coordination tasks.
  • Engage in research and analysis on climate-related health challenges affecting vulnerable populations.
  • Prepare background materials, memos, and communications for internal and external engagements.
  • Document stakeholder engagements using Salesforce and support internal communication efforts.
  • Provide logistical support for meetings, including researching invitees and managing invitations.
  • Track timelines and coordinate contributors for Health Team priorities.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned to support the team.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assist program officers with grant administration, including drafting materials and monitoring processes.
  • Conduct research on climate-related health issues and summarize findings clearly.
  • Prepare memos, slide decks, and communications for various engagements.
  • Document stakeholder interactions in Salesforce and collate supporting materials.
  • Organize logistics for meetings, including invitations and research briefs.
  • Manage project timelines and coordinate contributors effectively.
  • Support internal communications and contribute to team projects collaboratively.
  • Perform additional assigned duties to ensure smooth team operations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in public health, public policy, business, or related field.
  • Minimum three years of experience, with five years preferred.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and grant management tools.
  • Strong project management skills, particularly in logistics and event coordination.
  • Basic research and analytical abilities with clear summarization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative mindset and adaptability to team dynamics.
