Job Description

Overview

  • Lead construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with project teams to deliver ground-up and interior construction projects.
  • Manage on-site activities, coordinating subcontractors and resources effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Support the growth and development of the Houston office team.
  • Contribute to the success of a national contractor with diverse project portfolios.
  • Utilize your expertise to drive project efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Participate in the strategic expansion of the Texas teams.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee daily operations of construction sites to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams for seamless execution.
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules to meet objectives.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Prepare and present reports on project status to stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide assistant superintendents and project managers.
  • Facilitate communication between office and field teams for effective collaboration.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in construction management or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management; 10 years preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage ground-up and interior construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • Ability to work on-site and adapt to dynamic project environments.
