Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform all cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures and respiratory care modalities as required.
- Administer advanced respiratory therapies to patients with diverse conditions, including high-risk deliveries and neonates.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using EPIC systems.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care services.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory care.
- Stay updated on advancements in respiratory therapy techniques and technologies.
Job Requirements
- Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent education.
- Unrestricted license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in Colorado or ability to obtain before start date.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with diverse patient populations in respiratory therapy.
- Preferred experience with high-risk deliveries, neonates, and EPIC systems.
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish is advantageous but not required.
- Strong commitment to patient care and professional development.
