Job Description

Overview

  • Serve as the primary authority on EDI standards and integration patterns for a leading organization.
  • Design, implement, and maintain reliable B2B integrations across diverse partners and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop and enforce mapping standards, naming conventions, and documentation for integration assets.
  • Lead end-to-end implementation of trading partners and transactions, ensuring smooth go-live transitions.
  • Monitor EDI traffic and resolve failures promptly to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain security standards and compliance for all integration processes and systems.
  • Provide leadership in partner enablement and governance to reduce maintenance overhead.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Define and maintain the EDI and B2B integration roadmap aligned with enterprise architecture.
  • Recommend integration methods based on security, cost, and partner capabilities.
  • Design and build canonical maps for various EDI standards and logistics documents.
  • Integrate EDI with ERP systems, ensuring master-data readiness and robust error handling.
  • Monitor EDI traffic and publish performance metrics to ensure operational reliability.
  • Lead root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for systemic issues.
  • Ensure audit readiness and enforce security standards for integration processes.
  • Communicate EDI impacts to non-technical stakeholders, linking technical solutions to business outcomes.

Job Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of hands-on EDI/B2B integration experience in relevant industries.
  • Deep expertise in ANSI X12 and familiarity with EDIFACT standards.
  • Experience with modern integration platforms and EDI networks.
  • Strong ERP/WMS integration background, preferably with Infor systems.
  • Associate of Science degree or equivalent educational background.
  • Proven ability to lead integration projects and collaborate across teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for systemic issue resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts into business impacts.
