Job Description

Overview

  • Lead IT infrastructure operations, ensuring scalability, performance, and compliance within a hybrid work environment.
  • Oversee data center management, including operational resilience and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Manage vendor contracts, SLAs, and third-party risk assessments to align with regulatory requirements.
  • Strategically utilize external IT resources, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and performance monitoring.
  • Direct IT server projects, upgrades, and migrations to meet business priorities and budgets.
  • Maintain IT asset lifecycle governance, tracking, and compliance with audit requirements.
  • Ensure infrastructure operations align with regulatory expectations and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee system capacity planning, performance monitoring, and optimization for scalability and availability.
  • Manage on-premises and co-location data centers, ensuring operational resilience and redundancy.
  • Negotiate vendor contracts, renewals, and SLAs, ensuring compliance with risk management requirements.
  • Define scope, deliverables, and success criteria for external IT resources and consultants.
  • Lead infrastructure-related projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Maintain configuration standards and baselines, ensuring accurate documentation and change control.
  • Oversee software license compliance and optimization to mitigate financial and compliance risks.
  • Support audits, regulatory exams, and risk assessments, ensuring alignment with governance policies.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive IT infrastructure experience, including 3+ years in leadership roles.
  • Experience managing external consultants, contractors, and service providers.
  • Proficiency in data center operations, vendor contract management, and risk assessments.
  • Strong understanding of IT controls, audit requirements, and regulatory expectations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work beyond regular hours based on business needs.
