Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Oversee GAAP and statutory accounting for commercial real estate loans and partnerships.
- Evaluate CECL model results and lead audit processes related to CECL.
- Lead and develop a team of accountants, promoting a culture of improvement.
- Collaborate across departments to streamline processes and achieve superior results.
- Maintain SOX controls documentation and assess operational risks.
- Provide comprehensive analyses for new investment opportunities.
- Support strategic initiatives through detailed accounting and reporting efforts.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- CPA certification required.
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in GAAP and statutory accounting standards.
- Experience with Oracle Financials, TM1, Black Rock, and PAM systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Proven leadership skills in managing teams and projects.
