Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Monitor and analyze daily margin and financing costs across various financial instruments and strategies.
- Develop and maintain financing cost allocation methodologies, ensuring efficiency across asset classes.
- Execute repo transactions and facilitate securities borrowing to optimize short position costs.
- Manage firm-level FX exposures, implementing appropriate hedging strategies.
- Collaborate with investment professionals to assess financing impacts on investment strategies.
- Partner with treasury teams for liquidity management and cash reinvestment activities.
- Engage with middle office teams for trade support and cash wire operations.
- Maintain relationships with prime brokers, repo desks, and other financing counterparties.
- Continuously seek improvements in processes, analytics, and reporting capabilities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in portfolio finance, treasury, or prime brokerage funding roles.
- Proficiency in financing methods for equities and credit, with a deep understanding of leverage and margin concepts.
- Strong analytical skills and a control-oriented mindset for firm-wide operations.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in FX hedging and managing financial exposures.
- Ability to work on-site in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of improving processes and enhancing reporting capabilities.
