Overview

  • Support financial and strategic activities, including analysis, reporting, and forecasting, ensuring effective decision-making and organizational success.
  • Lead budgeting processes for corporate functions and non-mining locations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve financial goals.
  • Maintain and enhance Oracle EPBCS Planning System, ensuring data integrity and system reliability for financial planning.
  • Automate reports and create dashboards to streamline data analysis and improve operational efficiency.
  • Prepare financial presentations, peer benchmarking, and economic analysis to support management decision-making.
  • Develop complex financial models for business development and M&A initiatives, contributing to organizational growth.
  • Collaborate with senior management and department heads to perform in-depth financial analysis and improve existing models.
  • Craft clear and effective messaging for management, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Engage in ad hoc projects and deliverables, showcasing adaptability and commitment to organizational success.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Spearhead budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with department heads to discuss G&A, capex budgets, and corporate functions.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Oracle EPBCS Planning System, implementing system enhancements to improve functionality.
  • Automate existing ad hoc reports and create dashboards to ensure data reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare drafts of PowerPoint presentations and internal/external announcements for management review.
  • Organize internal support materials for quarterly earnings and financial presentations.
  • Perform economic analysis and develop financial models to support business development and M&A initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior management to perform in-depth financial analysis and improve existing models for enhanced functionality.
  • Research and prepare drafts for financial presentations, ensuring effective communication of key insights.
  • Engage in ad hoc projects and deliverables, demonstrating adaptability and commitment to organizational success.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, with 4 years preferred, in financial analysis or related roles.
  • Proficiency in Oracle EPBCS Planning System and advanced Excel skills for financial modeling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting within a corporate environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to craft clear and effective messaging.
  • Ability to build and maintain complex financial models for business development and strategic initiatives.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and reliability in financial analysis.
