Job Description

Overview

  • Provide clinical oversight and support for youth and families in a Residential Treatment Facility (RTF).
  • Focus on transitional and permanency programs to ensure positive outcomes post-discharge.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address educational and emotional growth needs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines set by the Office of Mental Health (OMH).
  • Develop and implement plans addressing barriers to successful reunification.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with local resources and referral procedures.
  • Support staff training in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) techniques.
  • Participate in clinical and administrative meetings to ensure program effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee transitions and discharge planning for residents in the RTF.
  • Provide clinical supervision to transitional and family support teams.
  • Coordinate with community-based programs for efficient family support.
  • Ensure compliance with OMH regulations and guidelines.
  • Develop and monitor utilization of transitional funds for clients.
  • Support effective navigation of systems impacting youth and families.
  • Provide supervision and evaluate team compliance with documentation standards.
  • Participate in community visits and collaborate with Quality Specialists.

Job Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work or related human services field.
  • At least 2 years of experience providing direct services to children with SED.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience in social services.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience with EMR systems and residential programs.
  • Knowledge of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) techniques.
  • Willingness to travel and work weekends as needed.
