Senior Project Manager

Overview

• Lead and manage complex architectural projects, ensuring quality, innovation, and client satisfaction throughout all phases.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable and impactful design solutions across diverse sectors.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, fostering strong relationships and aligning project goals with their vision.
• Drive project performance by managing scope, schedule, staffing, and financial outcomes effectively.

• Contribute to the refinement of organizational project management practices and standards.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Manage project scope, schedule, staffing, and financial performance to achieve successful outcomes.
• Collaborate with architectural and engineering teams to ensure alignment with design intent and execution strategies.
• Identify and address project risks, changes, and opportunities proactively to maintain progress.
• Lead contract negotiations, consultant coordination, and fee management to optimize project results.
• Mentor and coach project managers and team members, fostering professional growth and high-performance teams.
• Contribute to the development of project management tools, processes, and standards within the organization.
• Support business development efforts through client engagement, proposal creation, and strategic pursuits.
• Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to gather insights and inform project strategies effectively.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field is required.
• Professional certifications such as PMP or CCM are preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience managing architectural or A/E projects; 10 years preferred.
• Proven expertise in project financial management, contracts, and client relationship building.
• Strong understanding of project delivery methods, risk management, and consultant coordination.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead client conversations effectively.
• Ability to travel as needed to support client relationships and project execution.
• Experience mentoring and developing high-performing project teams is highly valued.
