Job Description

Overview

  • Collaborate with a dynamic team to design innovative architectural solutions across diverse sectors, ensuring creativity and functionality.
  • Contribute to master planning, interior design, and sustainable architecture projects, enhancing community-focused outcomes.
  • Engage stakeholders through workshops and presentations, gathering insights to inform impactful designs.
  • Utilize advanced rendering tools to visualize and communicate design concepts effectively to clients and teams.
  • Ensure adherence to building codes, ADA standards, and sustainability principles across all project phases.
  • Participate in site assessments and evaluations to inform design strategies and decisions.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate MEP, fire protection, and security systems seamlessly into designs.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop architectural plans and designs that align with client visions and project objectives.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate landscape architecture and engineering solutions.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates to guide project execution.
  • Facilitate client communication and representation throughout all project stages.
  • Conduct stakeholder workshops and presentations to gather feedback and refine designs.
  • Perform code compliance reviews to ensure accessibility and regulatory adherence.
  • Manage construction administration tasks, including site visits and contractor coordination.
  • Apply forensic architecture techniques for historical preservation and restoration projects.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.Arch.) is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of architectural design experience; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in rendering and visualization software for effective design presentations.
  • Knowledge of ADA standards, building codes, and sustainability principles.
  • Experience in master planning, interior design, and construction administration.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams including engineers and planners.
  • Ability to conduct public workshops and engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Familiarity with MEP, fire protection, and security system design.
