Overview

- Ensure adherence to building codes, ADA standards, and sustainability principles across all project phases.
- Participate in site assessments and evaluations to inform design strategies and decisions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate MEP, fire protection, and security systems seamlessly into designs.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop architectural plans and designs that align with client visions and project objectives.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate landscape architecture and engineering solutions.
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates to guide project execution.
- Facilitate client communication and representation throughout all project stages.
- Conduct stakeholder workshops and presentations to gather feedback and refine designs.
- Perform code compliance reviews to ensure accessibility and regulatory adherence.
- Manage construction administration tasks, including site visits and contractor coordination.
- Apply forensic architecture techniques for historical preservation and restoration projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.Arch.) is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of architectural design experience; 5 years preferred.
- Proficiency in rendering and visualization software for effective design presentations.
- Knowledge of ADA standards, building codes, and sustainability principles.
- Experience in master planning, interior design, and construction administration.
- Strong collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams including engineers and planners.
- Ability to conduct public workshops and engage stakeholders effectively.
- Familiarity with MEP, fire protection, and security system design.
