Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform monthly valuations of illiquid securities, presenting findings to valuation committees.
  • Conduct independent analyses using financial statements and market data to ensure accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to track issuer performance and trends.
  • Prepare quarterly portfolio review materials for presentation to portfolio managers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Support onboarding processes for newly originated investments with underwriting teams.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of valuation policies and procedures.
  • Participate in organizational initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial consulting, asset management, or related areas.
  • Proficiency in debt or equity valuation and advanced financial analysis techniques.
  • Strong skills in Excel and familiarity with tools like Capital IQ or FactSet.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments while meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated interest in investment strategies and company fundamental analysis.
  • Knowledge of debt instruments and three-statement financial modeling is preferred.
