Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead monthly and annual financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all tasks.
- Perform complex reconciliations for balance sheet and P&L accounts, including intercompany transactions.
- Review and approve accounting functions to maintain quality control and compliance standards.
- Manage client billing processes, ensuring data integrity and operational efficiency.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable duties, optimizing workflows and accuracy.
- Process payroll and manage employee expense reports with precision and attention to detail.
- Assist in preparing schedules and analyses for external audits and tax returns.
- Prepare internal financial statements and management reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify and resolve complex accounting issues, recommending and implementing process improvements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive general ledger accounting experience; 5 years preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, is essential.
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems; familiarity with Netsuite is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are critical for success in this role.
