Overview

  • Lead strategic business development initiatives for Accident & Health insurance products, driving growth and market expansion in the Midwest region.
  • Collaborate with underwriting teams to create tailored solutions that meet client needs and maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Identify emerging market trends and opportunities to enhance competitive positioning and expand client base.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with organizational objectives and market demands.
  • Foster strong relationships with brokers, clients, and industry partners to ensure successful collaborations and long-term partnerships.
  • Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Stay informed on industry developments, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, teamwork, and customer-centric approaches within the sales team.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Generate new business leads and cultivate relationships to promote Accident & Health insurance products and services.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the insurance sector; 5 years preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of insurance products, underwriting processes, and market dynamics.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies to meet revenue goals.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in sales software and Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and analysis.
  • Established network within the insurance industry is highly advantageous.
