Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' physical, mental, and emotional health.
• Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies with precision.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, ensuring adherence to care standards.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations in all nursing practices.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and team members regarding resident care.
• Participate in infection control initiatives and care conferences to optimize outcomes.
• Provide specialized care such as wound management, pain relief, and end-of-life support.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.
• CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with nursing home regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively.
• Proficiency in managing emergencies and supervising nursing staff.
