Job Description

Overview

  • Deliver exceptional maternal healthcare services, supporting expectant mothers and newborns through comprehensive care and education.
  • Conduct remote clinical assessments and provide personalized guidance to enhance maternal health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to address quality gaps and improve care standards.
  • Assist in scheduling prenatal, postpartum, and pediatric appointments to ensure timely access to care.
  • Perform medical record audits to maintain compliance with clinical guidelines and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Educate members on pregnancy health, postpartum recovery, and childcare practices.
  • Contribute to maternal health initiatives and quality improvement programs within the organization.
  • Utilize clinical expertise to provide compassionate, high-quality care remotely.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate and schedule healthcare appointments for prenatal, postpartum, and pediatric care.
  • Conduct telephonic post-partum assessments to monitor recovery and address care needs.
  • Provide educational resources on maternal health, postpartum care, and childcare.
  • Perform medical record reviews to ensure adherence to clinical standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to address audit findings and implement improvements.
  • Support members in overcoming barriers to accessing healthcare services.
  • Enhance maternal and child health outcomes through proactive outreach and education.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of clinical activities and assessments.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and valid Nurse Midwife license.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in maternal health or managed care.
  • Proficiency in clinical assessments and interpretation of medical records.
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with computer applications for documentation and reporting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Knowledge of quality improvement initiatives and maternal health education preferred.
