Job Description

Overview

  • Provide vital clinical support in a healthcare setting, ensuring seamless patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Perform essential tasks such as measuring vital signs, conducting phlebotomy, and administering cognitive assessments.
  • Accurately document patient information using advanced electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-focused care.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and infection control standards.
  • Work on-site full-time, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
  • Participate in virtual and onsite interviews as part of the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Measure and record patients' vital signs with precision and efficiency.
  • Perform phlebotomy procedures to collect blood samples for diagnostic testing.
  • Administer cognitive assessments to evaluate patients' mental health status.
  • Update and maintain comprehensive patient records in the EMR system.
  • Assist in coordinating patient care and follow-up procedures effectively.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and infection control measures.
  • Support healthcare team members in daily clinical operations and patient interactions.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required for this role.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical assistant position.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems effectively.
  • Strong phlebotomy skills and ability to perform cognitive assessments.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to work on-site during specified hours with dedication and professionalism.
